Floods Destroying Everything

I am a youth in Sangre Grande. Our school is falling apart—leaky roofs, no computers, and not enough teachers. When I got sick last month, we had to wait six hours at the clinic because there’s only one doctor. Mom says the government doesn’t care about rural places like ours. There’s nowhere safe for us to play either, just bush and muddy roads that flood every time it rains. I want to learn and have fun, but it’s hard when everything’s so broken, just now we will be living in Atlantis!
