Pension Raise Needed

Living in Moruga is hard at my age. My pension barely covers my bills, and food prices are through the roof. The clinic here is too far and the bus only comes twice a day, so I miss doctor’s appointments. Last year, my house got flooded, and the government sent no help, just talk. I feel forgotten out here, all the politicians care about is Port of Spain. My grandkids have no jobs, and I worry about them turning to crime. The government needs to fix this country for all of us, not just their friends.
